You can get started in the web app without installing an extension. Your browser will ask for permission when you capture or record your screen. Available capture sources and audio options depend on your browser and operating system.
Title suggestions, OCR text extraction, and privacy scanning use on-device models. Models may need to download first, and availability depends on your browser and hardware. Optional audio transcription is processed by Cloudflare Workers AI, not on your device.
Saving a capture to your workspace uploads it to cloud storage. You can organize it, delete it, or share its link. Anyone with an unlisted link can view it; private captures cannot be viewed through the public share page. Pro and above add password protection and expiring links.
On-device AI can run once its models are available, but signing in, saving to your workspace, and sharing require a connection. Kapti does not currently offer automatic offline sync, so stay connected when saving your work.
Yes. Team includes 5 seats, shared workspaces, comments, mentions, and integrations. Business includes 50 seats, 1 TB of storage, up to 5 workspaces, API and SDK access, webhooks, and workspace analytics.
Free captures are automatically deleted after 30 days. Paid plans keep saved captures until you delete them. Items in Trash are automatically deleted after 30 days on every plan. Screen recordings can be up to 30 minutes long.
